This past year, I’ve been working hard towards increasing my productivity. As a full-time college student, my productivity is crucial to my success. I like to have that attitude outside of my academic career as well. College is a big commitment, but I have figured out a way to make the most of my time throughout the day so that I can feed my entrepreneurial spirit. With that being said, I have three SIMPLE tips that you can use EVERYDAY to INCREASE your productivity.
#1 Plan your day out the NIGHT BEFORE.
This will give you a sense of peace – knowing that your day is already laid out for you. All you have to do is wake up and get that days task done. I plan out my day every night before bed; whatever I don’t finish that day I plan to pick it up and get it done the next day. (If you would like to glimpse into my daily routine, let me know in the comments!). This is an easy way to get a head start on your day and will keep you productive from the the time you wake up until you get in bed!
#2 Hold yourself accountable.
If you’re serious about the season of life that you’re in and you believe that there is so much more to accomplish then you need to hold yourself accountable. Stick to your schedule and follow through on the promises that you made to yourself. Your accountability to yourself will define if you’re productive or not. Your daily plan is there to make sure that you are getting “it” done whatever “it” is to you (your business, academic career, new year resolutions)… stick to it!
#3 Be mindful of your time.
“Time – the one asset none of us are ever going to get more of.”
– Gary Vaynerchuk
