EBAY SELLING GUIDE: TIPS AND TRICKS

Hey guys! I want to share with you the tips and tricks I have developed over the past 2 years of selling on eBay! I want you to have every tool necessary to be a successful seller on eBay! Also, I will be including items that I use on a daily basis for my eBay business! Leave me some feedback in the comments!

• Take clear photos

• Write clear descriptions (Example: New without box, Men’s Size 10.5, Will ship immediately and package carefully)
• Make sure your titles are accurate (especially for electronics) In the photo above you see that I include the style code + the size of the shoe in the title
• Get free boxes from USPS if available; if not order from Amazon (Partner’s Brand 14″L x 10″W x 6″H (Pack of 25) or buy from Walmart
• Don’t cheat the market (posting for a lower price to sell quicker, it brings the market value down of the item)
• Sell in lots for quicker sales (especially for books) I had these books laying around my house, instead of selling each individual I decided to sell them together! Sidenote: you can sell books individually, but do your research before your list so that you know what’s selling

• Drop packages off at post office as soon as possible, so that there won’t be issues with your eBay seller status

• Post new items frequently so that it helps your listings in terms of ebay’s algorithm ( I post every 2-3 days )
• Use bubble wrap ( Duck Brand Bubble Wrap Roll)or Stretch Wrap Roll (Duck Brand Stretch Wrap Roll) to protect your items
• Use good shipping tape to secure your boxes and shipping labels (Duck Tape Brand Packaging Tape)
• Make sure to leave a thank you note in the box with your sold item, customers love interaction and may buy again because of a small gesture (AmazonBasics Index Cards)
• Invest in a printer to make printing labels easier and faster ( I used to go to office depot 1-3 times a week to print, now I save time and money on gas and the cost to print) (HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Wireless Printer)
