The Hard Truth About Manifestation

While reading The 10 Pillars of Wealth this quote stuck out to me: “You can’t
expect your life or circumstances or situations to change if you don’t change.” This
sentence took me back to last year when I was thinking positive thoughts and
speaking manifestations into the air.

Spoiler alert: nothing changed.

I was struggling to understand why nothing changed when I felt like my energy
changed. Until I realized that talk is cheap. We can say what we want to happen,
but if we don’t put change behind those words its useless.
If we don’t put action behind our manifestation we are wasting our breath.

Here’s an example that we all can relate to of manifestation without action:

Say it’s December 31st and you are writing down all of the things you want to
accomplish when next December rolls around. One of those things on your list is
you want to lose 20 pounds. You are motivated to lose the weight, you even write
it down in the form of a manifestation “I will lose 20 pounds by this time next year.”
January rolls around and you’re not exercising or eating healthy, BUT you’re still
writing down your manifestation “I will lose 20 pounds by December.” June comes
you’re still aren’t putting in any work to reach your weight loss goal BUT you’re
continuing to write “I will lose 20 pounds by December.” And so on and so forth.
The only change you made in your life was writing down the same baseless
manifestation. A manifestation that can’t come to fruition because you are not
putting the work behind it! Let’s stop making baseless claims and let’s start
putting some action behind it!
